Operational features
  • AHC stays live over the side: jib and slew can still be moved with the hook in the water
  • Dual-sensor auto-takeover on load cell, winch encoder and jib sensors, so AHC does not drop out on a single sensor fault
  • MRU in the crane control system. Full 250 t top-wire tension in AHC. About 600 kW regenerated to the vessel bus
  • MOPS and AOPS on the main winch. High-speed auto-tension, 0–250 t from the cabin
  • 25 t AHC whip, 3,000 m, 120 m/min, own MOPS/AOPS. About 9 t remaining at 3,000 m
  • Personnel-lift mode on the whip, 5 t, safety factor 10, AHC and emergency release blocked in that mode
  • 2 × 10 t constant-tension tuggers, side-tilt ±15°, foot-operated from the cabin
  • Boom-tip camera, winch CCTV, 17 inch bridge repeater, load calculator and wire-life calculator
  • Bolted counter-foundation and bolt set supplied. Pedestal water cooler — vessel provides cooling water
  • Slew drives and enclosed HPU sit inside the king. External pipe to 50 mm is AISI 316
  • Factory acceptance procedure prepared to the ABS guide and API 2C. Main hook travel is 3,000 m
